Demi was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan moving to the Bay Area in 2011 with her four children. While she was pursuing a second degree in Business and Food Science in the US, she realized that she hardly finds restaurants that serve "delicious" Japanese dishes around the Bay Area.
Demi started desiring to introduce traditional/popular/trendy Japanese dishes she cooks at home to people in the States by using all her cooking techniques, methods, and experiences learned from her grand mother, her mother, and chefs at Culinary schools in Japan. The latest food trends in Japan have also influenced her unique recipes. She makes everything from scratch with finest ingredients that create tasty dishes as served in Japan.
